Police search Baganbari in search of Nasser Rahman

Members of law and order forces have conducted extensive searches in his garden house in search of former MP M Nasser Rahman, the eldest son of late Finance and Planning Minister M Saifur Rahman, president of Moulvibazar district BNP. Police, DB, DSB members conducted this raid at the late minister’s garden house located at Niteshwar on Srimangal road in the suburb of Moulvibazar from 5 pm to 8:30 pm today. The operation was lead by ASP Sarwar Alam of Moulvibazar Sadar Circle and OC KM Nazrul Islam of Model Police Station.

However, the police said that the operation was conducted based on information that the accused in the sabotage case were staying there. Later, the police arrested Baganbari supervisor Nazim Sarkar and chief security officer Rasheduzzaman and brought them to the police station. Police released them after questioning around 11 pm. OC KM Nazrul of Moulvibazar Sadar Model Police Station said that there was information that the accused were staying in the Baganbari sabotage case. Later we raided and found no one.
